I Used Timeless Skin Care for 30 Days: My Honest Review

In this blog post, I’m telling you about my 30-day experiment with Timeless skin care. I tested out three of their products: the Coenzyme Q10 Serum, the Hyaluronic Acid and MATRIXYL®️ 3000 w/ Rose Spray, and the 100% Pure Squalane Oil.

What made me excited to try Timeless was the fact that they say they use high concentrations of active ingredients in clean formulas – similar to the Ordinary.

Their products are paraben free, with no harsh chemicals, no animal testing, no synthetic fragrance or dye, and no PEGs (polyethylene glycols)

In the last 30 days, the majority of my skincare routine consisted of these three products from Timeless and a few of my tried and true favorites:

  • Coenzyme Q10 Serum
  • Hyaluronic Acid and MATRIXYL®️ 3000 w/ Rose Spray
  • 100% Squalane Oil

And now let’s dive into the products and my experience with them!

Coenzyme Q10 Serum ($26.95 for 1oz.)

The three main ingredients here are coenzyme q10, hyaluronic acid and Matrixyl®️ 3000 – all of these are supposedly really good for fighting the visible signs of aging. The only one that I wasn’t familiar with was Matrixyl®️ 3000 which is supposed to be a safer alternative to the traditional anti-aging ingredients used in skin-care

The benefits of the Q10 Serum are:

  • Powerful Antioxidant Defense
  • Prevents the visible signs of aging
  • Helps restore skin’s firmness + texture
  • Repairs environmentally damaged skin
  • Protects against future damage

The Q10 serum has a consistency that is slightly thicker than milk. It soaks up into the skin really quickly, but leaves a little bit of dryness like almost any other serum that I’ve used, so it’s recommended that you follow up with your favorite moisturizer. I was using it exclusively at night and I always applied my night cream afterwards.

After the first few days my skin immediately started feeling very soft and hydrated, but what I really wanted to see was reduction in the lines on my forehead. I’ve tried many different products with that specific goal and I’ve seen some results, but nothing dramatic. With this product I started seeing results around week 3 and by the end of week 4, I feel like my wrinkles on my forehead are wayy less visible!

Hyaluronic Acid and MATRIXYL®️ 3000 w/ Rose Spray ($18.95)
  • Instantly hydrates and refreshes skin
  • Provides protection from the environment
  • Helps refresh your makeup during the day

The spray is just as great as it sounds, it’s very hydrating, refreshing and all that… I don’t have a ton of things to say, it performed similar to other rose water facial sprays that I’ve used, but this one was not as heavily scented which I liked a lot. It has a very subtle rose scent, not overwhelming in any way and it just feels more natural to me for that reason.

100% Squalane Oil ($10.95 for 1 oz.)

As a dry oil, Squalane keeps your glow on without leaving an oily sheen.

  • Helps minimize moisture loss
  • Helps regulate oil production in the skin
  • Instantly relieves skin that feels tight and dry
  • Great body moisturizer
  • Great for dry, cold or extreme climates
  • Helps heal chapped lips

I love facial oils because they take your skin care game to the next level. It’s great to use in the winter if you live in a colder climate, it’s incredibly hydrating. This oil felt very light, it soaked up quicker than most oils that I’ve used, felt very clean and pure – no scent and no additional ingredients.

I was actually constantly switching with routine with it because oils can sometimes be tricky to layer. Generally the oil is the last step in your skin care routine and it’s usually recommended to use them at night after your moisturizer or night cream. But if your night cream has a lot of water and it hasn’t fully dried when you’re applying the oil, you might feel these weird little balls forming, kind of like your products are flaking off of your face. So sometimes I didn’t have the patience to wait for my cream to dry and I started applying the oil in the morning. This specific oil can be applied AM and PM.  I also tried it for chapped lips a few times and it really helped.

Final thoughts

I can say that I really enjoyed all the products. They all felt incredibly gentle and high quality. They all did a great job keeping my skin soft and moisturized and the q10 serum made my forehead wrinkles less visible which was really impressive to me and something that I’ve been struggling with for quite some time without being able to find a really good solution.

I will definitely continue using them daily and I really want to try more products from Timeless.
